Goniec Polski covers the whole Chopin statue project story
Goniec Polski in its 13th May 2011 edition published a very comprehensive article about the Polish Heritage Society UK’s - Chopin statue project, supporting our publicity campaign from the first day to the last. Goniec, a weekly publication, covered the whole Chopin story in great detail from the very beginning to beyond its unveiling. A highly interesting article can be in addition found on their web site: Goniec Polski. This feature is squarely aimed at the Polish speaking UK community, covering the statue story and its unveiling, as well as a very interesting story of the latest Chopin discovery–an early daguerreotype photograph (the daguerreotype was the first commercially successful photographic process) of the composer on his death bed, attributed to the famous Louis-Auguste Bisson (1814–1876).
