Helene Grimaud lays flowers at Chopin statue
The celebrated French pianist Helene Grimaud laid flowers at the statue of Fryderyk Chopin outside the Royal Festival Hall today (17th November, 2011) at the invitation of the Polish Heritage Society.
The PHS led the efforts to have the statue restored and erected again on London’s Southbank and has established a tradition of leading musicians coming to lay flowers during their visits to London.
